We missed a post yesterday. Don’t want to admit it, but I was tired. Can’t imagine why. Left Asheville just after 9 am. That area is so very beautiful.
Got into Cleveburg / Mayfield Heights after 6 pm. Still, Chris did all the driving and the unloading. Roads not as crowded as we had feared.
Today is Turkey day. Such a good day. We went to Janet’s around 2. Randy’s brother and sister-in-law and sister and brother-in-law and two nephews and a niece. Also, Jamie and Ross, Phil and Leah, and a friend, David. Oh, and don’t forget Atlas and Asoka,
Jamie and Ross’s dogs. Terrific food. Lots of conversations. And everyone saying, “I ate too much.” Now time to catch up on some more sleep.

I’m so glad you had a nice Thanksgiving. Road trips don’t always accommodate gluttony-based days like Thanksgiving!!
Safe travels.
Thank you, Fred! I hope you did, too! Im back home in East Hampton, now. It’s cold here!
Sorry for radio silence but I’ve been battling Covid . Was diagnosed beginning of week and it hasn’t been pleasant.
More importantly, I’m so glad you’re home safe and that you had such a wonderful trip. A road trip is such a revelation, both scenically and emotionally and I hope you experienced the benefits of both aspects.
Thank you for letting me “hitch”!
You’re welcome any time, Fred! Im sorry you have Covid. A few people I know have been having horrible coughs, but not sure if they are Covid. I hope you get better soon. I wish you a wonderful December and Happy New Year!
