Still in the Flat Rock / Hendersonville area. Went to Arabella’s for brunch. Since they didn’t have eggs Benedict, I chose avocado toast with eggs-over- easy. Tasty. Then wandered around the town a bit looking for Salvation Army for something to turn into possible Halloween apparel. The place was closed! Too much walking for me now, so Chris went for the car.

Joe picked us up and took us to their brand new house. So gorgeous, light filled. Bonnie gave us a tour. Nice, nice. She served goodies and again we talked and talked. Then she served supper. Chili and the fixings. After lots more talk. We went to downtown Hendersonville to have a night cap. Another get-together tomorrow morning and then on to Charlotte, NC to see Maggie and David
