We are now in our second week of travel. It’s November 6 and we are trying to understand what in the heck happened. Did the USA have a memory lapse? Have voters not been paying attention? Ahh.

In Houston we went to the Menil Collection and saw Frank Stella, Clifford Still, Andy Warhol, Max Ernst, and Kenneth Noland. So Good. Had lunch there and then saw Dan Flavin. Quite a show in colored fluorescent lights. Made / devised just when fluorescent lighting was invented.

We stopped in Austin and are now in Fredericksburg. Guess what, heavily German influenced. Just ate at a sports bar with a good musician and good food. Lots of driving, Saw magnificent pre and post sunset skies with incredible pointed shaped clouds cascading in different directions. Tomorrow Marfa and lots more museums to enjoy.
